I wasn’t aware of this until I looked into this sale, but apparently eBay Live Auctions has returned, as it offers one of the two online bidding auctions for this auction, with the other third party bidding service being Invaluable:
Apparently, eBay brought eBay Live Auctions back from the dead over a year ago. The service originally ran from 2000 to 2008, before the stuck a fork in it and Live Auctioneers positioned itself as the heir apparent. Since, a number of competing third party bidding services have emerged (like the aforementioned Invaluable, iCollector, and others) and a lot of auction houses have taken it on in-house (Julien’s Auctions, Heritage Auctions, Prop Store, etc.).
