I am in London currently, and had an opportunity to drop by the fantastic new “Bond in Motion” exhibit at London Film Museum in Covent Garden.\u00a0 The brilliant exhibition features cars used in James Bond films over the past 50 years, as well as some key movie props and costumes from the 007 franchise.\u00a0 I’ve always been a huge fan of London Film Museum and their mission, and as always they have put together a great collection of film memorabilia in a classy and artful way – they are really the best in the business when it comes to displaying pop culture artifacts.<\/p>\n

LONDON FILM MUSEUM TO STAGE \u2018BOND IN MOTION\u2019 FROM 21 MARCH 2014<\/b><\/em><\/p>\n

FIRST TIME THE LARGEST OFFICIAL COLLECTION OF JAMES BOND VEHICLES HAS BEEN EXHIBITED IN LONDON<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b> <\/em><\/p>\n

London, 7 February 2014: \u00a0The London Film Museum and EON Productions are delighted to announce that the BOND IN MOTION <\/b>exhibition,\u00a0<\/b>the largest official collection of original James Bond vehicles, will be on display for the first time in London from 21 March.<\/em><\/p>\n

This exciting family exhibition <\/b>will transform the entire London Film Museum space in Covent Garden and will allow Bond fans and members of the public to see the most up to date collection, including for the first time in the UK, the 1\/3 scale model of Agusta Westland\u2019s AW101 helicopter used whilst filming 2012\u2019s Skyfall. BOND IN MOTION will also feature a wide range of vehicles, miniature models, action sequence boards, vehicle concept art and props from all of the James Bond films.<\/em><\/p>\n

Iconic cars that have featured in the high octane, all action Bond vehicle chases will also be on display, including \u2018Wet Nellie\u2019 Lotus Esprit S1, from The Spy Who Loved Me, 1977, the Rolls-Royce Phantom III from Goldfinger, 1964 and the Aston Martin DB5 from GoldenEye, 1995.<\/em><\/p>\n

Exhibition will be open 7 Days a Week* 10am – 6pm (last entry 5pm) Saturday – 10am till 7pm (last entry 6pm). The Museum Shop and Cafe is open during Museum opening hours. Bond In Motion<\/b> was previously at The National Motor Museum, Beaulieu. \u00a0The exhibition ran from January 2012 to December 2013 and marked the 50th<\/sup> anniversary of the James Bond film series. Bond in Motion at the London Film Museum opens on the 21st<\/sup> March and will run throughout 2014.<\/em><\/p>\n
