I had an opportunity this week to visit the touring “Out of this World: Extraordinary Costumes from Film and Television” exhibit, which opened at the California Museum on October 3rd. As has been reported in the past, this traveling exhibition includes original props and costumes associated with Paul Allen (co-founder of Microsoft) and Science Fiction Museum in Seattle, Washington. “Mad Men” Original TV Props Featured in “Stars on the Set” in Latest Issue of Entertainment Weekly
The latest double issue of Entertainment Weekly (#1069/1070 – October 9, 2009) has a cover feature entitled “Stars on the Set” which includes behind the scenes coverage of a number of current productions in movies and television. 20th Century Props Liquidation Continues; Prop Rental Business Listed on eBay for $1.5 Million Dollars
Liquidation of assets following the much publicized closure of 20th Century Props continues, following a number of auctions held by Great American Group and now, Super Auctions. The business also has a standing eBay listing for $1.5 million dollars for the remaining assets and rights to the business itself.
