I did not learn of this auction promoted by Lloyds Auctioneers and Valuers until now, which appears to have taken place on 03/27/2011 Australia time (yesterday). While the title of the auction is “Costumes & Props from Major Fantasy Movie”, there is a page on their official website with photos entitled “Narnia”. Cinémathèque Française Hosts Exhibition on Stanley Kubrick Through July 31st, Features Original Movie Props and Costumes
Yesterday the Cinémathèque Française in France began their incredible Stanley Kubrick exhibition, which includes the display of original props, costumes, and production material from his classic films. The attraction will run through the end of July. The traveling exhibition has previously been presented in various cities since 2004, including Berlin, Zurich, Gand, Rome and Melbourn. [Read more…]
