The Heritage Auction Galleries has published on their website the online catalog and listings for their upcoming event, “Signature Music & Entertainment Memorabilia Auction – Auction #7018”, to be held April 9-11, 2010. Auction Fraud at Center of FBI & Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) Annual Report for 2009
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) issued their Annual Report a few months ago. Among the highlights is that auction fraud – a frequent topic in the hobby of collecting original television and movie props and wardrobe – was reported to make up one of four complaints made to the organization. Pawn Stars: An Entertaining Television Series for Collectors and Original Movie Prop Hobbyists
One of my favorite programs on television is Pawn Stars, which airs on The History Channel. Pawn Stars is a reality series about the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas run by “The Old Man”, his son Rick, and his grandson “Big Hoss”.
