The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) will be presenting their “19th Annual Art of Motion Picture Costume Design” annual costume exhibit, featuring more than 100 original costumes from more than 20 films released in 2010, including pieces from Shutter Island designed by Sandy Powell, Alice in Wonderland by designer Colleen Atwood, and The Wolfman by designer Milena Canonero. This study is, in my opinion, the definitive primer on original Superman costumes from the Christopher Reeve films of the 70s and 80s.
