Jason DeBord of Original Prop Blog Featured as Memorabilia Expert Authenticator on Latest “Pawn Stars” Episode (“Rick’s Roulette”) for Flash Gordon Prop Rocketship

I am featured in the History Channel’s popular cable reality series, Pawn Stars, in the latest episode debuting this week, “Rick’s Roulette” (Season 2015, Episode 27). I served as the Hollywood memorabilia expert and authenticator for one of the segments of this episode, taking a look at a prop model attributed to the Flash Gordon serials of the 1930s. This was filmed in December 2014 at Julien’s Auctions, when I was in town helping Colin Cantwell bring his Star Wars original artwork from 1974/1975 and other movie and television memorabilia to auction. ScreenBid Holds Online Auction for HBO’s “True Blood” Prop and Costume Memorabilia Event August 20th-25th

ScreenBid Hosts Showtime’s “Californication” Online Prop and Costume Memorabilia Auction June 26th – July 2nd

Following up on their official online auctions for Breaking Bad last year and Psych this year, newcomer ScreenBid will next be selling original props and costumes and other production material from Showtime Network’s cable series, Californication, starring David Duchovny as Hank Moody. The online-only auction begins June 26 and runs through July 2.

ScreenBid Launches ‘Psych’ Online Prop and Costume Memorabilia Auction to Benefit Alzheimer’s Association

On the heels of their popular online Breaking Bad auction last year, ScreenBid has today announced a new auction of 181 lots of original props and costumes from USA Network’s Psych. Proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association (selected by the cable show’s creator and Executive Producer, Steve Franks). Julien’s Auctions Featured in New Lifetime Unscripted Cable Television Series, “Celebrity Home Raiders”, Premiering March 6th

Lifetime today announced that a new series – Celebrity Home Raiders – featuring Darren Julien and Martin Nolan and Julien’s Auctions, will premiere on March 6th. The half-hour unscripted series promises a look into the homes of celebrities and some of their “prized possessions”. Featured in the show will be David Hasselhoff, Ice T, Lance Bass, Fran Drescher, David Cassidy, Debbie Gibson, The Simmons Family, and Rick Harrison. [Read more…]

Massive Ongoing Dexter TV Prop Auction Features Hundreds of Lots from the Showtime Cable Series

This might be one of the worst publicized auctions in some time, since it has been going on since November and I didn’t hear of it until I came across an article on Collider tonight. Per a press release from a few months ago, they’ve been holding online auctions since that time. While it is heavy on set pieces and short on the wardrobe material (that VIP Fan Auctions has been selling off for many months now on eBay), there are some really nice pieces offered in the mix. HBO Begins Series of Weekly Online Auctions of Original Memorabilia from “Entourage” as Cable TV Series Airs Final Season

HBO is holding an online auction at The HBO Shop for a small number of lots of original production material from their Entourage cable television series, which is currently airing its final season. This week marks the first of three weeks of auctions. Lots available for sale at auction include material related to the fictional movies depicted in the series, which has aired for eight seasons and features the popular cast of characters Vincent Chase, Eric Murphy, Johnny Drama, Turtle, and Ari Gold.
