The NRA’s National Firearms Museum has published another video as part of their “Curator’s Corner” series. The latest features a set of hero pistols used in Martin Scorsese’s Academy Award-winning film, The Departed (2006), including pieces used by Leonardo Dicaprio, Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg, and Jack Nicholson. An original fedora made for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull sold for $19,500 in an auction hosted by charitybuzz. The piece, signed by Harrison Ford, was donated by George Lucas and, per the auction description, came from his personal collection. The proceeds benefit The RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights. During my trip to Burbank last September, I made time for a short visit to meet with Brandon Alinger of the Prop Store of London at their Los Angeles facility.
