In the continuing coverage of original props, costumes, and other film and television assets on display at Comic Con 2012 in San Diego. This article features an impressive outdoor exhibit arranged by Warner Bros. and Comic Con, showcasing the Batmobiles from the 1966 Adam West film to the latest Christopher Nolan film being released in theaters later this month.
Like Marvel Comics, DC Comics brought some original costumes to display. With this event, they put The Comedian and the Snow Owl costumes from Watchmen, and the Arrow costume from the upcoming TV series along with the Deathstroke mask from the same. [Read more…]

2012 is Prop Store’s fifth year exhibiting at Comic Con in San Diego, and they continue to improve on their visually pleasing presentation and wide ranging original props and costumes on display. This year, the centerpiece holding the front corner spot is John Hurt’s spacesuit from Ridley Scott’s Alien (1979). Profiles in History’s Summer auction catalog, “Treasure from the Vaults” (or Hollywood Auction 49) – coinciding with the ‘Drier Collection, Part 1’ and ‘Animation Auction’ sales the days prior – is now available in print as well as online, via their official site.
