1961 Guns Quarterly Article on Steve McQueen’s Prop Gun from “Wanted: Dead or Alive”

Christie’s, CBS, Paramount Prevail in ‘Star Trek’ Memorabilia Auction Lawsuit

Two years after making the rounds as a lead story in the mainstream media, the Associated Press today reports that the Supreme Court of New York’s Appellate Division ruled that a Star Trek fan does not deserve $7 million dollars in damages as a result being displeased with one of the three items won at the “40 Years of Star Trek” auction held by Christie’s.  [Read more…]

“Mad Men” Original TV Props Featured in “Stars on the Set” in Latest Issue of Entertainment Weekly

The latest double issue of Entertainment Weekly (#1069/1070 – October 9, 2009) has a cover feature entitled “Stars on the Set” which includes behind the scenes coverage of a number of current productions in movies and television.  One of the more interesting sections is about AMC’s Emmy Award-winning “Mad Men” series, with a focus on props used on the show. WIRED, WETA, & The Secrets of District 9’s Grungy Alien Realism

Michael Jackson & Julien’s Auctions Lawsuit Update, Claims of Threats: “Lives Are At Stake and There Will Be Bloodshed”

As widely reported in the mainstream media, Michael Jackson has filed a lawsuit against Julien’s Auctions for the return of personal property from the Neverland Ranch that was consigned to the auction house with a sale planned for April 22-April 25, 2009 in Beverly Hills.  Fox News now reports on claims of threats made against Darren Julien and partner Martin Nolan by a Jackson associate.
