Quentin Tarantino Original Movie Prop Reunion (Death Proof, Kill Bill, Jackie Brown, Natural Born Killers)

April 2, 2009 By Jason DeBord

Today I received the hood from one of the original (crashed) “Death Proof” Chevy Nova’s driven by Kurt Russel as Stuntman Mike in the double feature film, Grindhouse.  I thought readers might enjoy a few photos using the prop as backdrop to a collection of original movie prop firearms from Quentin Tarantino films.

Below is a group photo of the hood from one of the Death Proof cars along with the Colt .38 Detective Special used by both Pam Greer as Jackie Brown and Robert Forster as Max Cherry in Jackie Brown, the custom 9mm Firestar used by Uma Thurman as “The Bride” and custom revolver used by David Carradine as Bill in Kill Bill, and the custom Winchester pump shotgun used by Juliette Lewis as Mallory Knox in Natural Born Killers (the Oliver Stone movie which QT has mostly disowned, but it was based on his original script):

More details can be found under “Movie Guns”, and over time each piece will have a dedicated page with additional information (as seen with Star Wars, James Bond, Terminator 2).

Special thanks to Adam for help with the Death Proof hood.
