Total Film Magazine, one of my two favorite movie magazines (the other being Empire Magazine, both out of the UK) has a feature in the November 2008 issue covering the Weta Workshop exhibit at the Royal Armouries (see “The Wonderful World of Weta” Exhibition in UK) and talks with Richard Taylor about the Lord of the Rings franchise. The latest (through “Feb 2, 2009″) issue of Concealed Carry Handguns magazine has a special feature about the “Guns of James Bond” by Dennis Adler. This is an update to a series of articles beginning late last year investigating the public sale of a Statue of Liberty head attributed to the 1968 classic, Planet of the Apes. Owner Les Hemstock consigned this piece to multiple auction houses, where it either failed to sell or was pulled prior to the event, and then later listed it for sale on eBay under his kcotsmeh account.
