The Original Prop Blog interviewed Joe Maddalena, CEO of Profiles in History, at San Diego Comic Con this week.  This video feature includes breaking news and announcements about upcoming events and efforts by the company, including next month’s LOST live auction event, the Stan Winston tribute exhibit featuring pieces from Iron Man and Avatar, the new Stan Winston School of Character Arts, the upcoming ‘Hunting Hollywood’ reality television series by SyFy Channel, and a special charity auction benefiting Variety Kids of Southern California.

LOST Auction Catalog Available as Download at Profiles in History Website

Profiles in History has released the catalog of the LOST live auction scheduled for August 21-22 at Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport.  The catalog preview available online at www.ProfilesInHistory.com is broken into six parts, one for each season, showcasing the original props, costumes, and other assets from ABC Studios television series LOST which concluded earlier this year. While previewing the Profiles in History “Hollywood Auction 40″ event in Calabasas Hills recently, I had an opportunity to discuss with owner and CEO Joe Maddalena this Summer’s big LOST auction event.  This special video interview update offers more details into the highly anticipated sale of Disney/ABC’s assets from the popular television series which ended last month.  Items being offered for sale at auction will include props, costumes, set pieces, vehicles, production artwork, and more.
