Note: This is a follow-up to yesterdays topic, Market Watch: Terminator 2 “Original” Miniature Prototype (Elstree Props).

A fellow original prop hobbyist went into a local model shop today on the slim chance that they might have the long out of print Aerial Hunter Killer retail model kit put out by Horizon in the early 90s. As a matter of fact, they did have one such retail kit in the back of the store gathering dust.

Armed with his cell phone with built-in digital camera, he inspected the underside of the piece to see if it had the matching stamp shown on the underside of the Elstree Props “original” prototype:

The hobbyist said the stamp on the underside of the kit appeared to be exactly the same as the Elstree “original”. A higher resolution photo will be forthcoming in a few days.

I suspected the Carolco stamp was nothing more than a copyright notice and this seems to have confirmed that suspicion.
